AI Advertising
Your customers are already asking AI.
We help businesses advertise in AI environments, starting with ChatGPT Ads. Reach your next customers where they explore, compare and make decisions.
- ChatGPT Ads available now
- EU, Germany & Netherlands
- Self-service Ads Manager
As of September 2026. We are not an OpenAI partner and have no special access. We work in the same Ads Manager that is open to everyone, just daily.
Illustrative example of an AI conversation: someone asks for the best CRM for a small company. Below the answer, a recommendation labelled as sponsored appears, followed by three further options.
- Relevant adAppears naturally in the conversation.
- High intentReach people when they are exploring options.
- Measurable resultsTrack performance with available measurement tools.

A keyword says what someone wants. A conversation says why.
That is the whole difference, and everything else on this page depends on it. Into a search box you type two words. To an AI you explain the situation.
solid wood dining table
Two signals: product and material. Everything else has to be guessed.
“I need a solid wood dining table for 6 people, budget up to €1,500, delivered within 3 weeks.”
Five signals, and every one of them is something a supplier can answer.
Tap a term to see it in the sentence.
Search is not disappearing. The interface is getting bigger.
Five moments where a decision takes shape
A buying decision is not a click, it is a route, and today it often runs inside a single conversation. Advertising does not belong at every point along it.
“Our dining room feels empty. What is actually missing in there?”
- What the person wants now
- No product yet. Someone has noticed that something is off.
- Does an ad belong here?
- NoNo. There is nothing to sell here yet, only a feeling.
- Where this happens today
- Social
- Content
- SEO
“What table sizes fit a room of 3 by 4 metres?”
- What the person wants now
- Orientation. They are building their own criteria.
- Does an ad belong here?
- DependsMaybe. Whoever helps here rather than pushing gets recognised later.

- AI conversation
“Solid wood or veneer, which lasts longer with daily use?”
- What the person wants now
- Weighing up. The criteria are set, options are being sorted.
- Does an ad belong here?
- FitsYes. This is exactly where a relevant recommendation is an answer, not an interruption.

- Google Search
“Oak table 200 cm, delivered in 3 weeks, up to €1,500. Who can do that?”
- What the person wants now
- A supplier who meets the conditions. Every criterion is named.
- Does an ad belong here?
- FitsYes, and this is the most valuable moment on the whole route.

“Show me the delivery terms and the return window.”

Meet your customers inside the conversation
Technically it is an auction like any other: you bid, you pay per click, you measure conversions. The difference is in what delivery is based on.
- Keyword
- Results page
- Ad
- Conversation
- Context
- Intent
- Ad
One step more, and that is where the difference sits: the context decides whether your ad is eligible at all. There are no keywords to book. You supply context hints, and the system decides.
What works today, and what does not
- Self-service via Ads ManagerAvailable
- Open across Europe. The account has to belong to your own company.
- Cost-per-click biddingAvailable
- Alongside cost per thousand impressions and conversion-optimised bidding.
- Conversion optimisationAvailable
- Billing is still per click. Nobody pays per conversion.
- Geographic targetingAvailable
- At country level. Finer levels exist mainly in the US so far.
- Product feeds for shopsAvailable
- CSV, hosted URL or SFTP. Ads are generated from the feed automatically.
- Pixel and Conversions APIAvailable
- Both, deduplicated through event IDs so nothing is counted twice.
- Your own audience listsNot available
- Unusable for campaigns targeting the EEA or Switzerland. Personalised ads do not exist there yet.
- Retargeting website visitorsNot available
- For the same reason. Anyone promising you this for Europe has not checked.
- Booking keywordsNot available
- Does not exist. Context hints are hints, not a booking.
- Revenue and ROAS in reportingAnnounced
- Announced by OpenAI. Until then those figures come from your shop and your analytics.

We Got It Marketing is independent. Not an OpenAI partner, not certified, no preferred access. We work in the Ads Manager that is open to everyone.
How a campaign runs
Four steps, and none of them is new if you have ever run Google Ads. Only the third works differently.
Account and access
You create the ad account yourself. OpenAI does not let agencies do it on a client’s behalf. Then you invite us. Review takes a few working days and cannot be rushed. Country, currency and time zone are fixed afterwards.
Campaign and objective
Objective, budget and bid. A daily budget is a seven-day average: a single day may spend twice it, and a week never more than seven times it.
Ads and context hints
Headline, copy, image, landing page, and instead of keywords, hints about the conversations your offer fits. They are not exact matches and do not guarantee delivery. For shops the ads are generated from the product feed instead.
Measure and refine
Pixel and Conversions API back on your site, conversions defined, then optimisation. OpenAI controls delivery, not the advertiser. What we control is the bid, the copy, the landing page and the exclusions.
What we take care of
A self-service tool is not a strategy. And nobody has five years of experience with this channel. What counts is whether someone sets campaigns up properly and measures them honestly.
- Strategy
- First the question of whether the channel is worth it for you. For some the answer is: not yet.
- Account and structure
- Structure, objectives, budgets, bids. We work in your account, and it stays yours.
- Ads
- Copy that answers a described situation rather than a keyword. That is a different kind of writing.
- Product and service data
- Preparing the feed, sharpening titles and attributes, keeping prices and availability in sync.
- Measurement
- Pixel and Conversions API server-side, event IDs against double counting, reconciled against your shop.
- Optimisation
- Bids, context hints, landing pages, exclusions. Weekly, not quarterly.
- Across channels
- Together with Google Ads, Meta Ads, SEO and your website, so the channel is not judged in isolation.
What you see, and what it depends on
The first four figures the platform provides on its own. The other four exist only if someone has built the measurement. Switch the sources on and see what ends up in your report.

- Revenue and ROASStill missingNeeds: OpenAI Pixel · Shop or CRM
Revenue and ROAS are announced inside the platform but not available yet. Until then they come from your own data, which is the more honest route anyway, because your shop knows the number that actually counts. Attribution runs on click windows of 7, 14 or 30 days, and a share of reported conversions is modelled.
From feed to purchase, from question to enquiry
The chain is the same. Only the last two stops differ, and with them the question of what breaks when something breaks.
Oak table 200 cm · furniture-example.com
Title, dimensions, material, price, delivery time. Whatever is missing here cannot match later.
CSV, hosted URL or SFTP. Price and availability have to be right or the ad breaks.
Someone describes exactly this need in the conversation.
Generated from the feed: image, title, price, rating. Labelled as sponsored.
Same price, same delivery time. A mismatch here costs the sale.
Reported back through pixel and Conversions API, checked against the order in the shop.
ChatGPT is only the beginning
AI interfaces are becoming places where people find products. What that turns into as an advertising channel is open, which is why this names what is settled and what is not.

- Google Ads
- Meta Ads
- SEO
- ChatGPT Ads
All of it runs, is measurable and has a budget you control.

- Third-party measurement

Announced by OpenAI or in beta. Nobody is naming dates, and neither are we.
- What we watch
- Advertising in other AI interfaces
- How visibility inside AI answers develops
No other provider has a publicly bookable advertising product so far. The moment that changes we will look at it and tell you whether it is worth your time.

One more channel, not a replacement
AI advertising replaces neither SEO nor Google Ads. It covers moments the others reach less well, and only together do they cover a whole route.

Performance marketing
Not AI gurus. A performance team.
We have run paid channels and tracking for years. AI advertising is the next channel in the same discipline, not a new business model.
- Google Ads and Meta Ads as daily work, not a side product
- We build conversion tracking and server-side measurement ourselves
- Websites and landing pages come from the same team
- Offices in Göttingen and Amsterdam, two markets, one point of contact
What we do not promise
- No figures for this channel that we have not measured ourselves.
- No CPC and no ROAS up front. OpenAI publishes no benchmarks, so anyone quoting you a number is guessing.
- No influence over what ChatGPT answers. Ads are labelled and kept separate from the answers.
- No partnership and no special access, because neither exists.
Is this for you, and is now the right time?
Two questions, and for a share of enquiries our answer is “not yet”. That is cheaper for you than a test that proves nothing.
Product feeds are the most mature part of this channel. The clearer your titles, dimensions and prices, the more readily a product matches a described situation.
Worth it from a well-kept feed and cleanly measured orders onwards.
People describe their problem to an AI before they know a product name. That is exactly where the shortlist forms.
Worth it when sign-ups or trials are measured.
Trades, construction, removals, agencies, B2B services. Requests arrive with location, scope and timeframe already attached.
Requires a page per service, not just a homepage.
If Google and Meta are running and measurement is in place, this is the cheapest moment to test an extra channel, because you can compare it.
Requires budget that a real test will not endanger.
Financial services, health services and legal services may not advertise outside the United States. That covers practices, clinics, law firms and insurance or financial advice. We would rather say so now than after setting up an account.
